- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on terminal equipment, such as bucket elevators, air slides, compressors and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are in safe and optimal working condition, making necessary repairs and adjustments as required.
- Monitor and manage the flow of cement products within the terminal inclusive of ship receiving and bulk loading to ensure efficient handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues that arise.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals.
- Higher Nitec or Diploma holders in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience as Technician in the cement terminal industry.
- Forklift license or welder certificate is a plus.
- Abilty to work in a cement terminal environment, which may include expose to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of the team.
- Able to work 3 rotating shifts.
- Shift and transport allowance
