Legal Counsel

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Legal Counsel to join our team. This role will provide legal advice and support across the company's core areas of brand protection, business operations, and employee relations , ensuring that our business continues to grow in a compliant and sustainable way.
The successful candidate should have strong commercial awareness, hands-on experience in corporate and employment law, and the ability to partner closely with management, HR, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Brand & Intellectual Property
Manage and protect the company's trademarks, brand assets, and intellectual property rights.
Review marketing campaigns, partnership activities, and communications for compliance with regulations.
- Business & Operations
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership contracts, and service arrangements.
Advise on business structuring, investments, and regulatory compliance for local and cross-border operations.
Support corporate governance matters, including board documentation and compliance frameworks.
- Employee & Workplace Relations
Provide legal guidance on employment law, workplace policies, and employee relations matters.
Draft and review employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and HR policies.
Advise on workplace disputes, disciplinary actions, and termination processes.
- Risk Management & Disputes
Identify legal risks across departments and provide practical solutions.
Support dispute resolution, including negotiations and coordination with external counsel.
Ensure internal policies are updated in line with changes in laws and regulations.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice law in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction is preferred.
- Ideally with exposure to both law firm and in-house corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of corporate/commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property.
- Ability to balance legal risks with commercial needs, providing practical and business-oriented advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
