Your Opportunity
As a key member of the OCBC Legal team, you will navigate complex legal landscapes in securities. You will work on legal issues ranging from transaction advice to dispute management. This role offers growth and skill development opportunities.
How You Succeed
You should be a strategic thinker with knowledge of the securities industry and its regulations. Ability to provide practical legal advice, manage risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders is essential.
What You Do
Provide legal advice to the securities trading arm and other units, including:
- Responding to queries and identifying legal issues and risks;
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents;
- Ensuring compliance with policies and laws, and conducting trainings;
- Collaborating with business units on new or revised products and services;
- Liaising with external counsel as needed.
Who You Work With
Group Legal & Compliance manages integrity and compliance, developing policies to mitigate risk amid digital transformation efforts.
Who You Are
Qualified lawyer with 4-6 PQE, experience in contract/corporate/commercial law, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Experience in litigation and securities/trading is a plus, as is an interest in securities and trading business. An agile and adaptable mindset is required.
