Product Engineer

Location: Tampines
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-time
Remuneration: 1 Month AWS Variable Bonus

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in bill of materials (BOM) structuring, shop floor control systems, and rack packaging design. You'll be involved in both local and overseas coordination to ensure the successful implementation of engineering changes and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify BOM structures to reflect engineering and production requirements

  • Maintain and manage the SFC system and SAP-related processes

  • Understand and contribute to rack packaging design improvements

  • Lead and execute BOM/material changes, ensuring smooth transitions in collaboration with cross-functional teams (local and overseas)

  • Provide engineering support during mass production runs

  • Participate and lead Kaizen activities to improve processes and productivity

  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and factory qualification activities

  • Assist in internal and external ISO audits

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of BOM, SAP, and shop floor control systems

  • Experience in rack packaging design preferred

  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills

  • Comfortable working with customers, HQ/factory teams, peers, subordinates, and management

  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Familiar with RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) compliance standards
