[What you will be working on]

We are seeking a Design leader to spearhead design transformation at Enterprise Singapore. In this role, you will drive the design strategy and delivery of digital products in Enterprise/SME engagement and service delivery.

As Assistant Director of Design Management, you'll:

• Be responsible for managing medium-sized teams and driving significant design initiatives

• Need to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution while developing your team's capabilities

• Take charge of significant product initiatives that requires coordination across multiple teams and domains, and take deep consideration into team composition to serve the mission while creating opportunities for reports to grow and flourish

• Benefit your organisation from your ability to solve complex problems at strategic level, and rally cross-functional peers and teams together

• Work with your team to gain greater craft expertise and set clearer strategic directions, and deliver impactful and user-centred solutions

[What we are looking for]

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial design, human-computer interaction (HCI), graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 9 to 12 years of experience in UX design, 5 of which in a managerial or leadership capacity

• Good with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, or similar

• Strategic thinker and a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives in your work

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and leadership

• Strong understanding of UX principles and methodology, with a strong commitment to design craft and quality

• Good communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively

• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and ability to handle ambiguity.

• Strong empathy for users and a desire to advocate for their needs

• Desire to train, guide and mentor more junior team members

• Experience working with and managing vendors tasked with delivering on design work

• Experience managing designers, mapping career pathways and supporting professional growth of designers

• You maintain high standards for design quality, usability, and accessibility while ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet business objectives
