About the role
As a Supplies Officer/Store Inspector at ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd, you will be part of the team ensuring the efficient management and control of the warehouse operations and inventory. This full-time role is based in the Airport Road East Region.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuing of materials and supplies to support production and maintenance activities
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse facilities and equipment
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory, storage, and distribution
- Coordinate with relevant departments to optimize warehouse operations and streamline material flow
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Provide reports and analysis on warehouse performance metrics
What we're looking for
- Minimum Nitec in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aerospace or a related field
- Preferably 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices, inventory control, and materials handling
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and computerised inventory tracking
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
