Duties & Responsibilities:
- Audit daily revenue from folios and vouchers submitted by Front Office. This consists of balancing the total checks and vouchers and total posting.
- Audit Front Office Rebate/ Allowance and ensure all adjustments are with valid reason. Check Paid-out postings by Front Office.
- Check Transaction Totals with Posting Journal report to ensure that closing balance on daily audit must be balance and Hotel Ledger must balance against Hotel Ledger Comparison.
- Check compliment room report to ensure all house-use and complimentary room are supported with duly approved requisition form.
- Room Statistics Report: Check and confirm all figures are correct as compared with PMS reports. Check the reported revenue, market segment & occupancy.
- Prepare Daily Sales Report and Daily F&B Revenue report. Check to ensure total Room, F&B and other revenue are accurately captured. Check the F&B revenue and cover for every outlets
- Check Banquet food & beverage breakdown based on banquet event order.
- Audit and ensure F&B discount are given correctly. Audit F&B Void checks and cancellations.
- Audit Officer Check and Entertainment Check
- Audit and complete the General Cashier Report.
- Perform monthly cash count on outlets cashier and all Front Office float, General Cashier float.
- Conduct regular spot check randomly at various outlets and Front Office to ensure no manipulation and procedures are adhered to.
- Performs any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in related discipline, preferable accounting
- Accounting and auditing knowledge
- Knowledge of hotel operations
- Good communication skills
- Follow-up skills
- Investigation skills
- 3 years relevant experience
