Our client is a reputable Japanese company specializing in global logistics solutions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Senior Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and smooth coordination with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary. This role also includes the preparation of consolidation reporting and financial statements to support management decision-making.

Reporting to: Finance/Accounting Manager

【 Responsibilities 】

- Prepare and maintain monthly full set of accounts and management reports.

- Prepare and submit the Consolidation Reporting Package to Head Office.

- Manage payments through web-banking platforms and ensure proper documentation.

- Prepare audit schedules and draft financial statements for external audit.

- Handle statutory reporting, including XBRL submission for AGM in compliance with the Companies Act.

- Prepare and file quarterly GST reports accurately and on time.

- Liaise with tax agents for corporate income tax filing.

- Coordinate with the company secretary on corporate matters.

- Support continuous improvements in accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

(Must)

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

- At least 2 years of a full set of accounting and management reporting experience

- Hands-on experience or assisting in consolidation reporting previously

- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP accounting systems and Excel

- Strong knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements, including GST, XBRL, and corporate tax

- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (auditors, tax agents, etc)

(Advantageous)

- Knowledge of shipping/ship owner accounting is an added advantage.

- Prior experience in a multinational, Japanese, or matrixed organization is preferred.
