Responsibilities

  • Provide home-based and centre-based occupational therapy services for children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine and gross motor difficulties, and self-care skill deficits.
  • Conduct standardized assessments and prepare comprehensive reports to support diagnosis and intervention planning.
  • Design and implement individual and group therapy sessions to address motor coordination, sensory integration, daily living skills, and school readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and other professionals to develop and monitor individualized intervention plans.
  • Maintain open and supportive communication with families and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and progress tracking

Qualifications and Traits

  • Possess a recognized Degree or Master's in Occupational Therapy from an institution accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Hold a valid practising certificate with full registration from the AHPC.
  • Applicants for Senior Occupational Therapist roles should have at least five years of experience working with children with developmental needs.
  • Demonstrates a heart to serve and a passion for working with children and families.
  • Strong sense of initiative, integrity, and the ability to work independently in both home and centre settings.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and open to different perspectives and approaches in therapy.
