ROLE

The Head of Admissions plays a strategic and operational leadership role in overseeing the full student admissions lifecycle at RD American School. This includes developing and executing student recruitment strategies, managing the admissions team, and ensuring an exceptional and professional admissions experience for prospective students and families. The role requires strong leadership, cultural sensitivity, and a customer-centric mindset to position the school as a top choice for international families in Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement admissions strategies to achieve the school's enrolment targets.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the admissions team to ensure excellence in service delivery.

• Collaborate with the school leadership team on enrolment planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.

Admissions & Enrolment Management

• Oversee the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrolment, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance with school policies.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of admissions data, conversion rates, and enrolment trends.

• Implement systems and processes to manage applications, assessments, interviews, and offers.

• Oversight the yearly re-enrollment process

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

• Act as the key point of contact for prospective families, providing personalized guidance and support.

• Represent the school professionally at education fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and attract prospective families.

• Build strong relationships with expatriate communities, relocation agencies, and corporate partners to drive awareness and student recruitment.

• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop campaigns, events, and communication materials that support admissions goals.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Produce regular admissions reports and dashboards for senior leadership.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in Singapore's international school sector to refine strategies.

• Maintain compliance with Singapore's Private Education Act and all related regulations.

• Liaise with relevant government agencies including Ministry of Education (MOE), Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), and other regulatory bodies as required.

• Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to student visa and permit requirements if applicable.

• Implement and monitor data protection policies in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) for all admissions processes.

• Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Senior Leadership Team

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in school admissions, sales, or customer relations, preferably in an international school setting.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrolment/recruitment targets.

• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in leading teams.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with cultural sensitivity.

• Adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.
