Our client is a Japanese-listed food manufacturing company. They are seeking a Inventory Control Management Team Leader to join their team

【Responsibilities】

1. Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

- Create an order plan and issue a purchase order to group companies.

- Master management: Maintain and ensure master cost and products are up to date.

  1. Logistics Operations
  2. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all logistics activities.
  3. Manage and optimize logistics processes.

  4. Track and ensure shipment arrives on time.

  5. Coordination and Communication:

  6. Collaborate and communicate with other departments (e.g., Sales, external warehouse) to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Address and resolve inventory discrepancies or logistics issues promptly.

  8. Provide regular reports and updates to the Inventory Control Management Manager.

  9. Process Improvement:

  10. Identify opportunities for improving inventory control processes.
  11. Work with Inventory Control Management – Manager to implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
  12. Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

(Must)

- At least 4 years of experience in inventory planning and management within the FMCG industry

- Experience managing a high volume of SKUs

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, and more)

- Effective communication skills in a multinational environment, with fluency in English for speaking, listening, and writing. This is essential for interacting with teams in Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and other regions.

- Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

(Advantageous)

- More than 5 years of experience in inventory planning and management

- Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in food
