Key Responsibilities:
IT Helpdesk & Desktop Support
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails from end-users.
- Provide 1st level support for ICT computing devices and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and verify hardware issues; coordinate with hardware vendors for repairs.
- Perform software patching (e.g., Windows OS updates, antivirus updates, other software patches).
- Set up, install, re-install, and dispose of ICT computing devices as needed.
- Assist in relocation and reinstallation of computing devices across sites.
- Ensure all relocated or new equipment is tested and fully functional.
- Provide user support for AV equipment in meeting rooms during hybrid meetings, Townhalls, and events.
- Deliver 1st level troubleshooting for AV systems; escalate to vendors when necessary.
- Conduct scheduled checks (minimum twice weekly) to ensure AV equipment is operational.
- Support or be on standby for important VC/AV meetings, including those outside office hours.
- Manage and maintain a pool of loan equipment (e.g., laptops, AV gear, portable storage).
- Configure and issue loan equipment; reset to default configurations upon return.
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop engineering roles.
- Solid knowledge of ICT computing devices, peripherals, and AV equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills.
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to travel between multiple buildings within Changi Airport for support needs.
- Experience with hybrid meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx).
- Familiarity with asset management and IT ticketing systems.
