Interior Design Manager – AI-Powered Home Solutions

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement & Sales Leadership
  • Lead by example in engaging both walk-in and online clients, building rapport and understanding their space, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
  • Guide your design team to use our AI-powered 3D walkthrough tools to deliver immersive design experiences—helping clients visualize and confirm their dream homes before installation.
  • Ensure all designers maintain high response rates, personalized follow-ups, and consistent conversion results.
  • Personally handle high-value clients and key design cases to reinforce brand trust and sales performance.
2. Design Innovation & Digital Integration
  • Champion the use of Leica 3D scanning and digital measurement to ensure design precision and data-driven project accuracy.
  • Oversee design output quality—ensuring all renderings align with real-world expectations based on Leica data and AI-generated design outputs.
  • Promote continuous learning within the design team to master digital tools, rendering systems, and smart design workflows.
3. Collaboration with AI Development Team
  • Work closely with Meerkat's AI engineers and product team to train and refine our AI Interior Design Model .
  • Provide real-world data, annotated layouts, and customer feedback loops to improve the model's recommendation accuracy and realism.
  • Participate in iterative testing, helping define new AI capabilities such as layout optimization, aesthetic style detection, and auto-quotation precision.
4. Team Development & Performance Management
  • Set monthly sales and design performance goals for the team and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct weekly reviews, design-sharing sessions, and showroom updates to strengthen knowledge and alignment.
    Mentor junior designers, nurture creativity, and cultivate a culture that balances aesthetics, functionality, and commercial awareness.
Education
  • Degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, Environmental Art , or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design and sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role .
  • Proven record in mid- to high-end residential or full-house customization projects .
  • Experience in AI-assisted design, digital design systems, or design technology integration is a strong plus point.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong leadership and team-coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, capable of independently handling high-value clients.
  • High digital literacy; adept at working with AI-powered design tools, 3D visualization software, and Leica scanning systems .
  • Proactive, responsible, and customer-oriented.
