Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and creative Interior Design Intern to join our dynamic team. As a designer, you will collaborate with our design professionals to assist in all aspects of the interior design process. You will have the chance to participate in real-world projects, from conceptualization and space planning to material sourcing and project management. This internship offers a valuable learning experience and an opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and create visual presentations, including mood boards, renderings, and 3D models.
- Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, and selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures.
- Conduct research on the latest design trends, materials, and suppliers to stay updated and contribute innovative ideas.
- Attend client meetings and assist in gathering project requirements and understanding client preferences.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Support the project management team in monitoring project progress and tracking timelines.
- Assist in site visits to observe construction progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
- Maintain an organized library of samples, catalogs, and resource materials.
- Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques with a proactive and positive attitude.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong passion for interior design and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, color, and space planning.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and suppliers is a plus.
