Technical Skills Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp (must)Experience with 3D rendering tools to create realistic visualizations of design concepts. Strong knowledge of industry-standard materials, finishes, and furnishings. Ability to create accurate and detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction documents. Understanding of lighting design principles and integration into overall interior design. Creative Skills Exceptional creativity and an eye for design aesthetics. Ability to develop innovative and unique design concepts that align with client preferences. Skill in creating mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations. Capacity to adapt and incorporate the latest design trends into projects. Spatial awareness and the ability to optimize space for functionality and visual appeal. Communication and Collaboration Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design ideas and concepts to clients and team members. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors. Ability to collaborate with contractors and other professionals involved in the design process. Project Management Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and precision in project execution. Budget management skills to select and source materials and furnishings within given constraints. Education and Experience Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
