Singapore United Personnel Services Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations, fire protection systems, and preventive measures in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems and related documentation.
  • Plan, recommend, and implement effective HSE initiatives in response to inspections, audits, and incident investigations to reduce operational risks and safeguard personnel and assets.
  • Conduct and participate in regular HSE inspections, emergency drills, and committee meetings. Organize awareness programs and campaigns to strengthen workplace safety culture and ensure employee engagement.
  • Participate in accident and incident investigations and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with safe work procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of emergency response equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Liaise with relevant authorities on HSE matters, including the coordination of audits, inspections, and emergency exercises.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental, or Occupational Health & Safety discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as FSM and WSHO, preferably in process-related environments
  • Registered FSM with SCDF and Registered WSHO with MOM
  • Well-versed in HSE management systems such as SS651 and ISO 14001, with hands-on experience in internal audits
