Singlife is also an official signatory of the United Nations Principles for Sustainable Insurance and the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment, affirming its commitment to finding a better way to sustainability.

The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time. Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan's leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and implement automation to eliminate inefficiencies and redundancies, adding value to operational processes automation within New Business & Underwriting and improving satisfaction for the customers and partners.

· Design and optimize AI data analytical tools & dashboards; work with stakeholders to maximize values of data to enhance critical insights for performance tracking, service quality, risk management and decision making.

· Leverage on GenAI technology to enhance New Business & Underwriting services to customers, partners and various internal stakeholders.

· Work with Digital, Technology, and New Business on automation projects to deliver strategic initiatives.

· Conduct training on new tools and reports; develop communication plans for process changes.

· Ensure all process improvements and automation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements

· Education & Experience: 2-3 years of experience in process improvements and automation experience in financial services or insurance (preferred).

· Skills & Competencies: Experience in Power Automate, Power BI, Qlik Sense and GenAI. Proficient in Agile and lean/six sigma methodologies. Green belt/Black belt certification is preferred.
