Summary
We are searching for a highly motivated Manager in our Revenue Accounting team. You will be part of the finance team and will act as Finance liaison in all Commercial projects.

Job Description
Business Requirements
- Act as the liaison between Commercial and Finance for all Commercial initiatives
- Review and evaluate the business requirement commercial projects to identify the impact the initiatives have on revenue, financial accounting and other downstream business processes
- Identify and suggest process improvements in the reveiew of business requirement
- Work with revenue accounting system owner to implement changes required to capture the accounting of the new commercial initiatives
- Ensure there are sufficient mitigating measures and controls to reduce any financial risk and exposure identified
- Work with commercial to implement changes required by finance for regulatory and industry compliance
System Testing
- Collaborate with Commercial and IT QA teams to define testing coverage and test plan.
- Design, develop and maintain comprehensive test cases to ensure robust coverage of system functionalities, no revenue leakage and accurate financial reporting.
- Review User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and verify Staging results for all commercial projects, including functional and regression testing.
- Manage various stakeholders to ensure that all required changes would be delivered per specification and agreed schedule
- Document the changes required and ensure that Finance business users are updated with the business process and system changes.
Post Implementation
- Provide post implementation support to Finance team to ensure that all projects are implemented as designed in production environment.
People Management
- Provide guidance to team members in Revenue Accounting team in resolving issues
- Mentor staff to help expand their knowledge and develop skill to perform their work independently
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Navitaire reservation system and airline revenue accounting process preferred
- Possess 5-8 years of experience in accounting function, preferably in aviation
- Familiar with agile methodology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong commercial awareness and critical thinking skills
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure.
- Well organized and meticulous.
- Proactive and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
