About the role

Octomate Staffing Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mall Facilities Senior/Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a bustling shopping mall located in the West/Central Region. This is a crucial position that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running and exceptional customer experience of our premier retail destination.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Operations Manager in managing daily operations and maintenance tasks to ensure seamless operations of the mall

  • Plan and oversee the annual budget, handle maintenance contracts, and monitor expenditures to meet the mall's operational requirements.

  • Supervise tenant renovation projects and provide support for Asset Enhancement Initiatives, mall events and promotions

  • Work closely with the Contract & Procurement team to coordinate ad hoc procurement, cyclical equipment replacements, and mall enhancement projects.

  • Lead the technical team, oversee vendor performance, and ensure adherence to safety standards by participating in emergency preparedness, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, risk assessments, and safety audits.

What we're looking for

  • Possess a degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities Management, Building Management, or Estate Management.

  • Graduates with relevant degree but no prior relevant experience are welcome to apply.

  • Demonstrate strong initiative, leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, with a resourceful and systematic approach to problem-solving.

  • Flexible to work beyond standard operating hours when required.

  • Open to learning and adaptable to potential lateral opportunities across different asset classes, aligned with business needs.
