Our client is a seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join their dynamic team

Responsibilities:

Perform analytical testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ensure accuracy of test results and calculations prior to submission to the Chemist or Supervisor.

Document all results in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Identify, report, and assist in the investigation of non-conformances and equipment malfunctions.

Support failure investigations related to chemical analyses.

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs and On-the-Job Training (OJT) materials.

Conduct equipment and product qualification as well as analytical method validation, as required.

Ensure all documentation and quality records comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment (e.g. analytical balances).

Participate actively in housekeeping, 3S (Sort, Set in order, Shine), risk assessments, and workplace safety initiatives (WHS).

Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or servicing as needed.

Manage inventory and procurement of lab consumables while controlling related expenditures.

Coordinate with external vendors for preventive maintenance (PM) services and calibration activities.

Assist with audit preparation and compliance readiness.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Any other tasks assigned by the Superior if required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or a related scientific discipline.
  • Familiarity with basic chemistry laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to perform overtime when required to meet operational needs.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
