Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support migration of IT systems from on-premises to secure government cloud platforms (VMware Cloud Foundation)
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware VCF components, Tanzu, and Kubernetes clusters
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, including web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS)
  • Monitor system health, performance, and resource usage across cloud and container environments
  • Implement IT security hardening and manage security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS)
  • Collaborate with HQ technical teams and government CISO units for updates, incident response, and compliance
  • Transition to ongoing cloud infrastructure maintenance, optimization, and IT security management

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Tanzu, and Kubernetes
  • Proficient with Aria Automation (vRealize Automation) and GitLab CI pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
  • Familiarity with cloud/container monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Understanding of IT security practices, system hardening, and testing
  • Ability to work in high-security Singapore government IT environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills (English & Mandarin)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, CKA/CKAD, CISSP) highly regarded
