About the role

As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making. What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analysing variances to identify areas for improvement
  4. Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support the management team in strategic decision-making
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and expertise
  7. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably within the management accounting and budgeting function
  3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications, such as Excel
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and reliable financial records
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
