Brokerage Ops Manager APAC, AWS Cloud Logistics

The AWS APAC Brokerage Ops Team seeks a motivated Brokerage Operations Manager to support our customs operations across the region. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day customs brokerage operations, contribute to process improvements, and utilize systems and tools while collaborating with stakeholders across teams and regions.

The ideal candidate should have basic understanding of customs operations or international trade, with good organizational and data analysis abilities. You should demonstrate attention to detail in customs documentation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers excellent growth opportunities within AWS logistics operations.

Key job responsibilities
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
- Support resolution of customs broker related issues and escalate when needed
- Monitor broker performance through data tracking and basic metrics reporting
- Assist in coordinating customs clearance activities across AWS sites/programs

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Identify and implement process improvements through data analytics
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline import/export operations
- Support automation initiatives and drive resolution of customs clearance challenges

A day in the life
In this role, you will:
- Communicate daily with customs brokers and internal customers on clearance matters and documentation needs
- Analyze customs clearance metrics and data to identify delays and bottlenecks
- Work with stakeholders to maintain smooth documentation flow
- Support continuous improvement in customs clearance efficiency
- Help ensure broker compliance with trade requirements through SOP maintenance
- Monitor broker performance and shipment status through regular reviews

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 3 years' experience in import/export operations
- Basic understanding of customs documentation and international trade requirements
