We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with strong expertise in Banking Applications, Production Support, and Change Management . The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in troubleshooting complex systems, managing incidents, leading change implementations, and ensuring high availability of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for critical banking and payment applications, ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
  • Perform incident management, problem management, and change management in alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Troubleshoot application, middleware, and database issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
  • Manage deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in banking/financial applications .
  • Collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, and internal teams for issue resolution, requirement gathering, and project implementation.
  • Automate recurring operational tasks and optimize system performance.
  • Monitor and support Internet/Mobile Banking, Client Services, and Payment applications across multiple environments.
  • Lead and mentor support team members, ensuring adherence to SLAs and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in Banking Application Support and Change Management .
  • 10 years of overall IT experience in Production Support, System Analysis, and Application Management .
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux (commands & shell scripting) and Windows environments.
  • Expertise with Middleware technologies (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, JBOSS) and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Database proficiency in DB2 and MariaDB .
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and web/application servers (IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven team leadership experience.

Nice to Have:

  • ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge of IT service management best practices.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
