Singapore DZ BANK AG, Singapore Branch Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

This is a 1-year contract role in the Project Finance department at DZ BANK AG, Singapore Branch.

You will support DZ BANK's Asia-Pacific Project Finance team, engaged in arranging of and participation in limited / non-recourse cash flow-based financings for large-scale greenfield and/or brownfield projects. As an Analyst, you will support deal team members in their activities including originating, executing, and coordinating process with clients and other lenders. An individual at this level would be expected be familiar with basic financial, cash flow and financial modelling analysis. Sectors covered by the Project Finance team include:

  • Infrastructure: transportation (highways, railways, ports), water, social infrastructure (schools, hospitals, prisons, other public buildings)
  • Power: conventional power plants, renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro) and BESS, transmission lines
  • Oil & Gas: LNG facilities, pipelines, refineries, petrochemicals
  • Data Centers

Job Description

You will support the Project Finance team in:

  • Preparation of proposals or presentation to clients
  • Managing portfolio transactions, including preparing waiver request analyses
  • Preparing research analyses and assistance with due diligence review (e.g., analyse the project and financing structure, identify project risks and assess the mitigation)
  • Assisting in review of documentation and KYC process
  • Working on cash flow models, financial analyses and ESG compliance assessment
  • Innate interest construction and technical aspects and project structures
  • Performing analysis and researches on countries, industries and financiers in relation with project finance;
  • Other administrative tasks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance / Accounting / Engineering / or a related field of study
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant project finance experience in the financial or engineering industry (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply when exposed to Project Finance during an internship)
  • Corporate finance fundamentals (incl. cash flow analysis), ideally obtained in past work experiences
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities in English
  • Effective team player
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure and/or tight deadlines
