Customer Care Officer, Live Chat/WhatsApp (12-Month Contract)

Location: Kallang Sector

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, various shifts (8:00am–7:00pm) & alternate Saturdays (half-day)

Salary: $2,580–$2,800 + bonus package

Duration: 12 months (extendable/convertible)

Role Overview:

Join as a Customer Care Officer managing enquiries via live chat and WhatsApp. Provide timely solutions, handle complaints, and ensure a smooth digital customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer enquiries from webforms and chat platforms, resolving issues efficiently
  • Manage multiple chats simultaneously while maintaining service quality
  • Provide timely solutions and alternatives to meet KPIs
  • Handle customer requests such as high consumption queries, bill presentation, account management, and bill adjustments
  • Assist with payment arrangements, including dunning blocks, instalment plans, and payment deferments
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably handling chat enquiries
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Able to multitask, organize, and prioritize work effectively
  • Work independently while collaborating as part of a team
