Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Oversight

  • Manage the day-to-day functioning of the club including opening/closing procedures.
  • Supervise floor operations during club hours to ensure smooth service flow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee bar, security, and service teams to maintain high standards.

2. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and schedule front-of-house staff (bartenders, servers, floor managers, security, cleaners).
  • Conduct regular team meetings and briefings before shifts or major events.
  • Monitor performance and enforce discipline, grooming standards, and customer service expectations.

3. Guest Experience

  • Ensure exceptional guest service at all times — from queue management to table service.
  • Handle VIPs, regular customers, and special requests professionally.
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues in a prompt, diplomatic manner.

4. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory of alcohol, mixers, barware, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely restocking and manage purchase orders.
  • Control wastage, theft, and breakage through checks and staff training.

5. Financial Reporting

  • Oversee daily sales reconciliation and cash handling procedures.
  • Submit nightly/weekly/monthly sales and operational reports to ownership/GM.
  • Assist in budgeting and expense control.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local licensing laws (liquor, entertainment, employment).
  • Implement and monitor health, fire, and safety regulations.
  • Train staff in emergency protocols, evacuation, and first-aid basics.

7. Collaboration with Other Departments

  • Coordinate with the Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure promotions/events are executed properly.
  • Work with the DJ/Entertainment Manager to coordinate set times, artist arrivals, and sound checks.
  • Liaise with security contractors and external vendors as needed.

8. Venue Maintenance

  • Ensure the club is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
  • Coordinate repairs or maintenance work promptly with relevant vendors or internal staff.
