Our client is seeking an ACMV Engineer to join their team
What you'll be doing?
  • Project Supervision: Monitor and supervise subcontractors' work progression, ensuring adherence to shop drawings, method statements, and material specifications.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, main contractors, and clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Design Review: Analyze ACMV design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge in M&E to identify and address discrepancies between various project aspects, including structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute projects within specified deadlines, attending meetings to address issues and update progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Study and review drawings and specifications for compliance, allocating work and ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standards.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Industry Experience: Ideally, candidates with more than 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, particularly in ACMV system installation. However, candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of ACMV systems, local and international codes of practice, Green Mark requirements, and hydronic/static calculations.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and ICDD (Interface Control & Data Document) would be advantageous.
