About the Role

Join our client, a global leader in industrial technology trusted by the oil & gas, chemical, and energy industries. They are looking for a Procurement Manager to strengthen their SCM team in Singapore.

This role will be key in ensuring supplier management, cost optimization, and timely procurement for customized products and junction box assembly. You will oversee a team of buyers, warehouse operators, and planners, while driving procurement strategies aligned with global standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, benchmark, and optimize purchasing conditions following the TCO concept
  • Manage and develop suppliers in Singapore and Malaysia, conducting risk assessments and performance reviews
  • Supervise procurement planning to meet customer expectations and project timelines
  • Monitor and optimize stock levels to minimize cost and maximize availability
  • Support sales and engineering teams (ETO/customized products) to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Approve and expedite purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery
  • Lead savings generation initiatives and provide reporting to management

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Planning, or equivalent
  • At least 8 years' experience in procurement or sourcing management (project procurement preferred)
  • Familiar with sheet metal, machining, and electronic supplier base in Singapore & Malaysia
  • Strong communicator with proven supplier negotiation and development skills
  • Resourceful, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Leadership experience managing small teams
