Senior Manager/Assistant Director

Central Region, Singapore Singapore General Hospital Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

You will work closely with the Clinical Governance and Quality Clinical Director and Department Lead to drive clinical governance oversight of clinical quality assurance committees (QACs) in SGH. 

Your job duties include but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage team members who support QACs.
  • Provide oversight for secretariat and operational support for QACs. Some examples of these QACs include Intensive Care Unit Committee, Code Blue Committee and Blood Transfusion Committee and Clinical Alarms Committee.
  • Supervise team members, track progress and ensure timely follow-up on any issues arising from the committee meeting / activities:
  • Check and ensure accuracy of meeting minutes
  • Manage projects, activities and/or initiatives undertaken by QACs
  • Review and update Committee policies or guidelines.
  • Ensure timely reporting and analyses of QAC indicators
  • Engage clinicians and other relevant stakeholders at various platforms such as Patient Safety Council
  • Assist in preparing department's work plans, budget and manpower projection/recruitment.
  • Carry out performance review; annual and interim staff appraisals
  • Assist in right sizing, manpower projection and hiring process.

Requirements

  • Degree in Science / Healthcare related (E.g. MBBS, Pharmacy, Nursing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of biostatistics, statistical tools and data visualisation software is preferred.
  • Experience in quality, process improvement, data analytics, clinical audit, or patient safety is preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience with 4-5 years in a healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role required
