Responsibilities:

Accounts Officer

  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals).
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Support in audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for management.

Accounts Executives

  • Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Handle tax matters (GST/SST/VAT returns, corporate tax submission support).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • May supervise junior staff (accounts assistants/officers).
  • Assist management with process improvements in finance and accounting functions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience

  • Knowledge of full set of accounts preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; meticulous in work

  • Positive working attitude, independent, and willing to learn
