About the Role:

The ACP comprises of faculty and administrative members to drive the AMC strategic goals to advance academic medicine (AM). The incumbent will be key administrative personnel responsible for two or all the following areas:

·       Grants and Research & Innovation

·       Faculty Affairs and Professional Development

·       General Business Functions and Events Management

·       Process Improvement and New Initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Be the main liaison for grant extension or variation (GE/GV) requests, to support financial sustainability in AM projects
  • Review GE/GV requests, and engage requestors, Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM) and Research Finance to ensure provision of information required and timely submission.
  • Promote and administer ACP Programme Grant call, to provide funding support for AM advancement.
  • Review ACP Programme Grant applications to ensure provision of information required and timely submission.
  • Facilitate approvals of all grant-related requests or applications.
  • Organise and upkeep records in internal SharePoint library to enable collaboration and reference.
  • Monitor monthly doctors list to identify newly appointed Associate Consultants / Consultants for academic titling or promotion.
  • Follow up with requests from SingHealth Academy for award nominations to recognise staff contribution.
  • Be the main liaison and manage nomination calls from Education Office for academic appointments with NUS/NTU or other awards (e.g. Associate in Education), to enable clinical teaching opportunities and recognition.
  • Organise and upkeep records in internal SharePoint library to enable collaboration and reference.
  • Generate meeting notes using Gen AI and circulate meeting notes.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • 2 to 4 years of working experience in healthcare or education setting would be advantageous but not mandatory
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to analyse and convey complex information
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Meticulous, well-organised and able to multi-task efficiently
  • Resourceful and proactive team player, with positive attitude and a keenness to learn and grow
