1. Accounting & Reporting

  • Handle full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 lease accounting (landlord leases, subleases, ROU assets, and lease liabilities).
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Support consolidation and group reporting requirements.

2. Operational Finance

  • Oversee tenant billing, collections, and deposits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and process landlord rental payments, utilities, and property-related expenses.
  • Work closely with Operations team to reconcile occupancy, revenue, and expenses.
  • Monitor and improve finance-related processes (e.g., tenant onboarding/offboarding, rental deposits).

3. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, especially around cash collection, AML obligations, and procurement.

4. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise and mentor Account Assistants or junior staff.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Property Management) to provide financial insights.
  • Support CFO/Finance Manager on special projects, system implementation, or IPO readiness.
