Key Responsibilities:

1.Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collaborate with business functions to define reporting and visualization requirements
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools
  • Work with business functions (Sales, Design, Operations, Logistics, and Finance) to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

2.Data Engineering & Integration:

  • Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to enable real-time visibility and decision-making
  • Optimize data models to support efficient reporting and analysis
  • Integrate data from Microsoft 365, HR systems, and other business applications such as SolidWorks (CAD) and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Automate data cleansing and validation processes to improve overall data quality

3.Data Governance & Quality

  • Establish data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for data management
  • Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to enhance reliability
  • Support audits and compliance activities by providing accurate datasets and reports

4.Oracle NetSuite Operations:

  • Be part of the team to support NetSuite ERP operations, including liaising with external vendors to resolve user-reported issues
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SuiteQL queries for reporting and analytics
Job and Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing or finance
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) is essential
  • Strong background in SQL, data modeling and ETL processes
  • Prior experience in NetSuite Analytics is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle products, especially for financial reporting and visualization
  • Strong Knowledge of ERP data structures, particularly financial modules

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data model optimization for performance
  • Strong SQL skills (e.g., T-SQL, SuiteQL) for ERP and financial data analysis
  • Experience in data wrangling and transformation using Python or R for automation and preprocessing
  • Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON/XML data structures, and integrating with ERP or SaaS applications
  • Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric for advanced analytics and scalable data processing
  • Understanding financial processes and accounting principles is highly desirable

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges from a technical perspective
  • Resourceful and self-driven, with the ability to independently analyze complex problems, break them down into manageable parts, and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively across functions (finance, design, manufacturing, IT, and supply chain)
  • Meticulous in ensuring data accuracy, with a continuous drive to improve data-related processes and workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
