MetaSport is a leading sport management company in Asia staging some of the most prestigious triathlon and cycling events in Singapore and Indonesia, among which are IRONMAN 70.3 Bintan, Tour de Bintan, MetaSprint Series Singapore, Run as One Singapore, and CSC Run by the Bay. We also deliver world-class international events for partners such as Super League Triathlon.

MetaSport also manages Singapores largest and most respected triathlon training community.

THE ROLE
As the Event Operations Coordinator you will be highly involved in the planning process, and be an integral part of delivering smooth and high-quality events.

Responsibilities:
-Source, negotiate and purchase consumables, event materials and equipment
-Supervise proper storage of equipment, assets and consumables, and keep an accurate record of inventory
-Assist with obtaining relevant permits and authorizations from government agencies and stakeholders
-Plan and coordinate transport and event logistics
-Plan and assist with event venue setup and tear down
-Assist in negotiations with contractors as required
-Liaise with contractors and ensure quality, on-time execution
-Recruit, train and brief volunteers for race kit packing, race kit collections and event days
-Plan and produce event signage, accreditations passes, car labels and branding material
-Assist on ground event operations at race kit packing, race kit collections and on event days
-Ensure smooth and effective communication with the other departments
-Assist the Operations Manager in any other areas as required
-Any other ad hoc assignments as required from time to time by management

Requirements:
-Polytechnic diploma or degree
-Singaporean or PR
-Reliable, responsible, and able to perform under pressure
-Good time management skills
-Resourceful, meticulous and thorough
-Self-motivated, independent
-Good written and spoken English
-Class 3 driving license advantageous
-Interest in sports a plus
-Willing to travel and work on selected weekends
