About the Position

We are looking for a talented and willing sushi maker to join the HotJap Foods team in the heart of Orchard Road. As a full-time sushi chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality sushi dishes to delight our customers and become an important part of our thriving F&B business.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes including maki, nigiri and sashimi

Ensure all sushi ingredients are fresh, high quality and meet food safety standards

Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient and safe ingredient preparation

Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment of orders

Provide excellent customer service

Participate in inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients

Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety regulations

What we require

Prefer experience as a chef or similar position

Familiar with fresh ingredients and food safety regulations

Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality standards

Flexible to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and peak hours
