What the role is
You conduct research and provide timely analysis of defence and security developments and socio-economic issues in the country of interest.
What you will be working on
- Conduct defence and security research
- Analyse socio-economic developments
- Build and maintain databases
- Identify key research focus areas for the team, guide research efforts and provide inputs to guide generation of assessments
- Support branch head duties
Challenge(s) - Keeping pace with military developments in country of interest and regional trends that influence capability development
- Understanding intelligence demands and effectively communicating requirements across stakeholders
What we are looking for
- At least 6 years of research experience
- Language expertise in Melayu or Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong analytics and strategic thinking skills
- Stakeholder management ability
- Good leadership skills
