Key Responsibilities:

• Regional Strategy & Business Growth: Develop and execute a cohesive international sales strategy in partnership with the Hong Kong and China sales teams to drive regional business growth.
• New Client Acquisition: Aggressively generate new client flow from a diverse portfolio including Southeast Asian corporates, financial institutions, and central banks for the Huatai China/Hong Kong platform.
• Capture Chinese Outbound Flow: Work closely with onshore China teams to identify and secure business from Chinese clients with operations and strategic interests in the Southeast Asia region.
• RMB Product Champion: Lead the regional expansion of our RMB business, with a specialized focus on the Dim Sum bond market and associated FX and rates hedging opportunities.
• Senior Relationship Management: Leverage an established network of senior contacts to significantly strengthen the firm's market presence in both Macro (FX & Rates) and Credit flow products.
• Platform & Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Product, Middle, and Back Office teams to support the enhancement of the platform and ensure seamless operational support for all new business initiatives.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all sales and trading activities adhere strictly to the highest standards of compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal risk management policies, both onshore and offshore.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10-15 years of proven experience in FICC sales, with a focus on international clients and complex products.
• Established and senior-level network across Southeast Asia within corporates, financial institutions, and/or official institutions.
• Deep expertise and a successful track record in the Dim Sum bond market, RMB internationalization trends, and related hedging solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in capturing business from Chinese outbound clients is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop strategy and foster collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape and a steadfast commitment to compliance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
