[What you will be working on]

At the Product Engineering department in GovTech's Cybersecurity Group, we build cybersecurity products to combat evolving threats and help to ensure a secure baseline for ICT&SS used across the Whole-of-Government. We are an agile team incorporating DevSecOps and the latest technologies such as AI, secure CI/CD pipelines and the Cloud to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

We are actively working on AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities to combat evolving threats, harness data across platforms to detect anomalies at speed, and assist defenders by automating their operations.

What you will be working on:  

  • Advise management on a broad range of technology, strategy, and policy issues associated with AI pertinent to the realm of Cybersecurity. 

  • Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, in collaboration with a security engineering team to deploy and run AI/ML solutions. 

  • Convert machine learning models into APIs (using backend API frameworks such as Django) with which other apps and teams may interact with. 

  • Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each exploration. 

  • Provide statistical analysis and interpreting findings and results to influence an organisation's decision-making. 

  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. 

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Relevant cybersecurity certification such as OSCP, SANS Certifications, or AWS Certified Security. 

  • Model, build, and test AI software to achieve desired results in a cyber security setting. 

  • Familiarity with using Python and C# tooling analyse data, and for deployments on cloud platforms and endpoints. 

  • Familiarity with AI/ML pipeline deployments on AWS e.g. Lambda, SageMaker for deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models. 

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, vulnerability standards like OWASP, and hacking techniques. 

  • Backend development experience with Python and Django framework. 

  • Collect, organize, and present progress with team leadership and stakeholders.
