Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SS651 standards.
  • Lead EHS planning and execution for construction, commissioning, and operational phases of data center projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore's regulatory requirements and corporate EHS standards.
  • Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments (RA), and job safety analysis (JSA).
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and Major Hazard Installation (MHI) reviews.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs including fire safety, SCBA, emergency preparedness, and behavioral safety.
  • Organize fire drills, evacuation exercises, and monthly safety committee meetings.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and staff engagement.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits (corporate, customer, government).
  • Maintain certifications and ensure audit findings are addressed and closed.
  • Report EHS KPIs and metrics to regional and corporate leadership.
  • Provide EHS oversight for CAPEX projects, including permit applications and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
  • Support business continuity planning and due diligence for new acquisitions or expansions.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in data centers, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Registered Workplace Safety Officer (WSHO) with MOM and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA.
