Job Title: Assistant Manager, EHS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments; follow up on corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports with recommended actions.
  • Facilitate training programs to promote a safety culture and awareness among personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS data, permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • Monitor environmental aspects and ensure compliance with waste management and sustainability practices.
  • Support senior EHS managers in preparing safety reports and KPI updates.
  • Stay updated on relevant EHS legislation and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 5 years of EHS experience at managerial level.
  • Familiarity with local EHS regulations and construction safety codes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure during site emergencies.
