\Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Professional\

EHS professionals play a vital role in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of facilities, processes, and equipment. In this capacity, they are responsible for advising on facility design to ensure safety and environmental compliance, managing permits, licenses, and chemical approvals with regulatory authorities, and maintaining and improving EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities\
  • \
  • Develop and enforce EHS SOPs and site Emergency Response Plans.\
  • Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.\
  • Track and report EHS metrics.\
  • Ensure regulatory and corporate EHS compliance across sites.\
  • Manage inspections and training.\
  • Advise on facility design for safety and environmental compliance.\
  • Manage permits, licenses, and chemical approvals with authorities.\

Requirements\
  • \
  • A well-versed knowledge of regional safety and environmental regulations and corporate EHS policies.\
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an Operation and/or EHS capacity in a large-scale manufacturing operation or equivalent combination of education and work experience.\
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the relevant authority.\
  • Degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.\
