Job Description:

As a Regional EHS Senior Manager, you will serve as the Environment, Health and Safety lead for Southeast Asia and Australia. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing all EHS matters in the region, acting as the primary point of contact and advisor to internal stakeholders on EHS-related issues, developing the EHS roadmap and action plans to achieve performance goals and metrics, conducting site inspections, guiding subsidiaries to ensure compliance with local EHS laws, company policies, building safety standards and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the EHS lead for Southeast Asia and Australia.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor to internal stakeholders on EHS-related issues.
  • Develop the EHS roadmap and action plans to achieve performance goals and metrics.
  • Carry out site inspections and guide subsidiaries to ensure compliance with local EHS laws and regulations.
  • Establish EHS performance indicators and drive the adoption of best practices for safe work procedures.
  • Deliver internal EHS training, conduct risk assessments and perform safety audits.
  • Lead incident investigations, prepare reports and recommend corrective or preventive actions to reduce recurrence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 10 years of professional experience in EHS roles, strong knowledge of EHS regulations across Southeast Asia and Australia, a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Studies or a related discipline and professional EHS certifications are preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

Coaching, Sustainability, Asset Management, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Environmental Studies, Sales Management, Employee Benefits, Waste Management, Audits, Human Resources, Hospitality, Customer Service Experience and EHS skills are required.
