Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will have the opportunity to drive organisation-wide initiatives, analyse market trends, and develop innovative solutions to enhance our total rewards framework. [What you will be working on]
Compensation: You will work on the development of compensation strategies and translate them into operational objectives and policy formulation. You will build collaborative partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders and adopt best practices on compensation management. Your primary role will involve regular market benchmarking, market analysis, recommend enhancements, implement and communicate compensation policies and programmes to reinforce CAAS’ market position in attracting and retaining talent. You will be involved in the annual salary review, promotion and bonus cycles. As part of the job evaluation panel, you will review and ensure that job evaluations are carried out objectively to establish the relative importance of the job accurately. You will also be involved in the annual budgeting process relating to staff costs.
Benefits: You will be responsible to review and implement CAAS’ benefits programme to ensure they are relevant and inclusive. You will involve in benchmarking benefits offerings to market competitive practices and make recommendations for changes and additions to CAAS’s benefits.
Depending on your experience and skillsets, you will have opportunities to broaden your HR expertise beyond compensation and benefits. As a versatile HR professional in our team, you may be assigned to manage diverse portfolios including HR policy development, employee engagement initiatives, and strategic workforce planning. This role offers excellent exposure to end-to-end HR operations, allowing you to develop a holistic understanding of HR practices while contributing to various aspects of our people strategies. The dynamic nature of this position enables you to grow your capabilities across different HR domains while making meaningful contributions to CAAS's mission.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 10 years of experience as a HR practitioner or in an equivalent capacity
- Previous experience in compensation and benefits review is a plus, including knowledge of market trends and best practices in total rewards management
- A resourceful problem-solver with a strong drive for results
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Possess strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop practical solutions through critical thinking
- Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel matters and organisational information
- Good stakeholder management, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels
- Proficient in relevant HR digital software and solutions, visualisation tools, Microsoft Office suite (especially in MS Excel)
- Note: Familiar with Singapore public sector HR practices and WOG initiatives is a plus
