[What the role is]
CAAS is currently seeking a skilled and experienced digital communications professional to join our team. We are expanding the team to further develop our in-house competencies and build our bench strength in digital communications.
The Digital Communications team is an integral part of the CAAS Corporate Communications team, which oversees and drives the strategic storytelling process, with the objective of strengthening CAAS’ position as the aviation sector champion and regulatory authority.
[What you will be working on]
As a Manager/Senior Manager (Digital Communications), you will be an integral part of the CAAS Corporate Communications (CC) team. You will work side-by-side with a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team of colleagues, drawn from the corporate communications team as well as regulatory and policy teams, to ensure that our digital communications efforts achieve our organizational goals.
A core part of this role is to:
- Plan and curate a comprehensive social media communications calendar to build mindshare, strengthen connections and engagement with targeted stakeholders at different levels to establish thought leadership across the digital landscape.
- Create and deliver highly relevant and engaging audio-visual content in innovative and effective ways across CAAS’s digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platoforms necessary.
- Monitor and manage community engagement, ensuring prompt and appropriate response to enquiries and online conversations.
- Ensure the corporate website is updated, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines which may include conducting website traffic, keyword and social media analysis to iterate and improve website and social media performance metrics.

[What we are looking for]
**Requirements**:
- Trained in Digital Communications, Marketing, Journalism or comparable experience
- Strong understanding of digital communications trends and best practices with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Digital Communications role
- Possess strong strategic planning, project management and good organisational capabilities and experience developing creative content for digital channels/platforms
- Experience in crisis communications
- Excellent people skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, multi-task, anticipate issues that may arise and handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to translate complex issues into easy-to-understand narratives
- Experience using Adobe Photo Shop and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience with video and podcast production and editing techniques and software
- Experience using content management systems to manage websites
- Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools
