In this role, you will support leaders to identify, build and execute HR strategies to meet GPS' objectives. You'll understand the critical business priorities and proactively develop a People agenda that supports the business as it continues to grow whilst incorporating our values and adding to the strength of our culture in the APAC region.
This role would suit an individual who thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment and who works well in time critical situations.
**Role & Responsibility**:**HR Operations & Administration**:
- To build strong relationship with the Heads of Region (APAC), supporting them and acting as a critical partner
- Liaise with regional Corporate Service Provider for any additional support and legal advice
- To work closely with managers in order to develop a people agenda that closely supports the overall aims of GPS
- Diagnosis of critical issues affecting the business function, preventing or blocking them achieving their aims/strategic goals
- To maintain HR Systems and manage data integrity including managing APAC headcount, joiners, self-assessments and holidays
- Leading on termination paperwork and agreeing terms for leavers and conducting exit interviews
- Collaborate with the wider People team both locally, regionally and globally
- Drive engagement activities, annual engagement survey and follow up actions for the Regional Offices
- Develop and improve APAC procedures and policies in line with local law
- Provide support for the business regarding HR processes, eg. rewards, performance, grading, talent, development, annual compensation/performance reviews
- To lead HR Reporting, KPIs and metrics to include monthly reporting on headcount by function and geography versus budget, joiners and leavers in the month, staff turnover rates by department (report on any issues), key hires in month and key vacancies plus total open roles
- Lead on HR procedures and policies and employee contracts
- Lead on or implement HR initiatives and project implementations across APAC
- Identify and support robust engagement activities,
- Represent the People department positively within the wider business
- Assisting with the co-ordination and delivery of the annual performance review process
- Work with the business to manage the probationary period process
- Devising, implementing and embedding new policies and procedures as necessary
- Prepare offer letters, regularisation letter and employee contracts for Hong Kong and Singapore
- Work with HR colleagues to manage the administration of maternity, paternity, shared parental and other leave as necessary to support employees
**Talent Acquisition**
- Management and maintenance of Sourcing Database for APAC
- Support managers with interview co-ordination
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors
- Manage reward strategy and offering including salaries and benefits, benchmarking against external rates, reviewing and proposing company benefits schemes (including, healthcare, standardisation of benefits)
- Payroll management for 3rd Party Employer of Records & Asia Pacific
- Work with the Finance team to manage payroll and work with finance to manage expenses policy
- Continuous improvement of processes Management of the APAC benefits schemes
- Administration of all superannuation scheme
**Business Partnering**:
- Participate in the weekly/biweekly business partnering meetings with the UK based Business Partners
- Consult managers on employee relations topics
- Provide organisational development, change management expertise and a value-adding partnership to the business function
**People Advisory**:
- Providing advice and coaching to the Line Management population ensuring consistency and adherence to local legislation Managing the HRIS and administration around this from onboarding to offboarding for APAC
- Support employees in their HR decisions (recruitment, dismissal, evaluation interview, promotion, conflict, social litigation, etc.), help them integrate the HR variable into their strategic decisions.
**People Projects**
- Oversee the delivery and implementation of priority people projects
- Determine the flagship projects
- Follow up on suppliers on engagement contract / invoice, relation with new joiners
- Support on any switch to legal entity preparation of engagement contract by country and all HR documentation
- Coordinate activities, monitor and control implementations
- Implement HR monitoring and reporting tools
- Assess the satisfaction of operational staff with the HR performance delivered and the expected results.
**Training & Development**:
- Assisting with organisation and administration of the learning and development programmes
- Designs and delivers an Onboarding program for new joiners to ensure the employees are fully equipped to start in their roles.
