Summary
You will be part of the Ground Services team to spearhead and project own products & services' development and transformation of current and innovative solutions to improve the service delivery of our business model, via an Agile manner.
You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the ground operations for the growth of our operational needs.
**Job Description**:
People Management and Development
- Identify areas for development.
- Manage project managers and product owners within the department.
- Manage business analysts and developers from external departments.
- Guide new product owners and set SMART goals.
- Track progress of projects under the team and provide timely updates to Management via product council sessions.
Check-in Development
- Identify key development initiatives and plan, execute and evaluate these initiates to improve check-in experience and efficiency.
- Identify new trends in check in for improved user experience, customer journey and potential revenue opportunities.
- Evaluate risks, benefits and opportunities to develop software product to holistically meet the objectives of the team and organization.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate and align with SQ Group on check-in development where practicable.
- Work with software engineers to develop robust and easy-to-use UI/UX with designers to improve user experience and increase engagement.
- Review user and customer feedback through various channels. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify issues or pain points and address areas of improvement.
- To be coached in Agile project management, translating research and design to deliver regular valuable increments with the Agile team.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure software product comply with regulatory requirements and organization policies.
Digitalisation efforts
- Lead Ground Department's digitalisation efforts in areas identified. Leverage on IT to drive both efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Champion digitalisation projects and ensure implementation issues are resolved and given appropriate attention, drive adoption rate, etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders and vendors and adopt industry's best practices for digitalisation initiatives.
- Provide management with overview of digitalisation projects and pipelines achieved.
Audits
- Facilitate regulatory audits as auditee.
- Lead station audits and inspections as assigned.
- Keep close communication with key stakeholders during inspections to identify relevant issues faced at airports and spearhead solutioning.
Agile methodology activist
- Promote Agile methodology in managing projects within Ground Department
- Guide department colleagues in achieving Agile implementations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven ability in core Ground process / procedure development and able to grasp Agile project management.
- Strong knowledge of different check-in and channels, and proven specialty in Navitaire DCS.
- Skillful and resourceful of making things happen and yet in an agile manner.
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to drive change management and continuous improvements will be key to success in this role.
- Experience in driving implementation of digital initiatives
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or Agile Practitioner will be an advantage.
- Business Analyst experience will be an advantage.
- Self-driven and positive work attitude.
- Able to work under pressure.
