**Senior Claims Executive, Health and Benefits**
This role manages clients’ claims but not limited to Domestic Corporate / International Corporate / Retail Health / Travel / Workmen Compensation claims for Singapore and regional clients.

**What the day will look like**
- Hold responsibilities over claims queries / handling within pillar; provide feedback
- Attend to all claims enquiries/matters from internal and external customers for allocated accounts within the mandatory timeline
- Gather necessary documents / information (where appropriate) for insurers to adjudicate claims assessment, basic checking/investigation for contestable / complicated claims should there be any disputes
- Liaise with various parties to ensure proper closure of claims enquiries/matters
- Provide timeliness of response to queries - respond to Internal/external client query within the mandatory timeline (as per key performance indicators)
- Provide timeliness of response to phone calls within the mandatory timeline (as per key performance indicators)
- Carry out pre-screening tasks within the required timeline (as per key performance indicators):
- claim documents upon receipt from clients or insurers for diamond accounts and/or designated account.
- all claim rejections upon receipt from insurers
- all claim settlements as per required amount need to be checked
- Backup and/or cover claims query/claims matter (may not be owns account) within the department as & when instructed
- Where applicable, management of common mailbox for claims dept
- Complete all tasks given accurately within the required turnaround time
- Assist superior and/or claims manager to carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- At least GCE ‘O” or ‘’A’ Level qualification
- 1 - 2 years working experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Experience in claims handling preferred
- Insurance professional qualifications preferred (HI, M5 & M9)
- Basic knowledge of Life & Health Insurance preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Tools
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good team player and service-oriented
- Self-motivating and ability to multi-tasks
- Ability to plan & priority setting
- Build Initiative / Sense of Responsibility within Teams and inter-departments
- Can do attitude with a willingness to learn, adjust and thrive upon changes
