**We will count on you to**:

- Interface with clients, placing brokers, retail office colleagues, (re)insurers, claims experts and other parties.
- Identify potential policies and coverage for incoming claims, performing independent research to seek validation or clarification where necessary.
- Notify (re)insurers of any new claim in a prompt manner and keeps them fully updated as the claim progresses. This involves the registration of the claim on the system(s), the issuance of PLAs, RLAs, DLAs, debit & credit notes and the collection of both indemnity and expert fees with regular follow up in order to deliver timely collections.
- Handle complex issues pertaining to claims complications, claims processes and/or claims collections, escalating where necessary.
- Provide prompt, clear and accurate advice to clients and other parties on any claims matters.
- Coordinate with MMC Finance on claims and/or fee payment reconciliations and ongoing settlements to clients and claims expert.
- Maintain physical and/or e-files for all documentation to/from clients, (re)insurers, claims experts, etc., and ensures that all notifications, expert reports and updates are e-filed.

**What you need to have**:

- At least 5 years of claims experience
- Achieved BCP/ComGI/PGI or equivalent relevant qualification
- Good understanding of (re)insurance policies, contracts/slips and their commercial aspects
- Experience in handling large and complex (re)insurance claims, ideally on both proportional and non-proportional placements
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
