We are seeking a **Plant Maintenance Manager**to lead the maintenance function of a large-scale **Energy-from-Waste (EfW) Plant**. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Plant, this is a strategic and operational leadership role overseeing the plant’s mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of essential plant operations

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership & Operational Oversight**
- Lead, coach, and develop a cross-disciplinary maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)
- Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtimeEnsure optimal performance of waste handling, combustion, flue gas, ash handling, and related systems

**Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance**
- Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance in all maintenance activities
- Conduct safety and environmental risk assessments; lead emergency response preparednessStay abreast of changing regulatory standards and ensure full compliance

**Strategy & Cost Management**
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget with a focus on cost-efficiency
- Oversee vendor/contractor engagement, procurement planning, and inventory controlIdentify process improvements that align with operational, safety, and sustainability goals

**Reporting & Continuous Improvement**
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance schedules, inspections, incidents, and KPIs
- Report to senior leadership on plant maintenance performance, improvements, and risksCultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the maintenance team

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering**or related technical field
- **10+ years of experience**in the **Energy or Utilities**sector, with at least **5 years in a senior maintenance leadership role**:

- Proven track record in managing complex plant maintenance operations
- Strong understanding of **regulatory frameworks**, especially safety and environmental compliance
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Self-driven, analytical, and process-oriented
